Search entries
A name, place, or other term entered in a sponsored search box passes to the third-party provider operating that tool. Pennsylvania Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's policy controls its collection and use.
Messages
Information sent in an email or contact submission may be retained long enough to understand and answer the message. We do not share that correspondence outside the organization unless the sender permits it or disclosure is legally required.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Normal web operations may produce limited technical and usage records, including:
- Internet Protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Device class and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent
- Referring website, when supplied
- Date and time stamps

Websites Beyond Our Control
Links may lead to Pennsylvania county sites, jail rosters, DOC, the Parole Board, UJS, PA SAVIN or VINELink, BOP, ICE, and outside search services. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy policy governs. Government systems also control whether live records change or become unavailable under the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law, 65 P.S. §§ 67.101–67.3104, court access rules, sealing, expungement, or Clean Slate limited access.
Advertising partners may use their own technology to measure activity across websites and tailor ads. That processing occurs on their systems and under their notices.

We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be available to:
- Search partners that process submitted queries
- Analytics providers that measure site use
- Advertising networks that deliver or assess ads
- Law enforcement or another government body acting under a valid legal order
Reasonable Security Measures
We use ordinary safeguards suited to a public information website. No internet service, storage method, or transmission channel is completely secure. Pennsylvania Released Inmates cannot promise that a breach will never occur.
Visitors Under Eighteen
This service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Contact Us page to request review and deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and verification, a person may ask to:
- Receive a copy of personal data we hold
- Correct inaccurate submitted information
- Delete personal information where required
- Opt out of processing where a legal right applies
Changes to This Notice
We may revise this notice when site practices or legal requirements change. An updated version becomes effective when posted here with its new effective date.
